"Summer weather, like being in love, is a philosopher's stone which turns our ordinary days to gold. But not the whole day ... For it is never the whole day, never all our life which is transformed in any happiness, but only the exquisite moments." (Nan Fairbrother)
I am trying to make the most of this summer, and as I have not had a proper holiday in some years, I decided to go on a weekend Yoga Retreat, and then go to a College of Continuing Education for five days' holiday sandwiched between two weekend courses. The Yoga was difficult but, as always, an understanding tutor did her best to make it an uplifting experience for everyone, and it prepared me for some brainwork in the following ten days. Most of all, though, it was regenerating to meet all kinds of people - even if briefly - and to find that most of us have difficulties to cope with and do so with a good heart
So, my mantra for today and always is: "Keep your spirit uplifted and keep trying!" And as always, I would like to hear from you. Om Shanti - Brenda..

Thank you, Reed Dylan, for taking the time to comment. I have a hospital appointment today, lengthy but just for routine tests/scans, and you are the first person in the year I have been running my site to post a comment. The spiritual side of each of us is as important as our physical health. In fact, when that goes a bit haywire, it gives us the strength to endure.
Love, Peace and Blessings, Brenda.
